Due to Covid 19, on-site events are not available at this time. We look forward to once again providing a place for making art, developing creativity, and finding inspiration in the near future.
What started as “Mrs. Torres’ Art Camps” in 2012 became part of Cedars Art House when the space opened in 2017. Every summer has meant new, innovate ways for kids to be inspired, lessons connected to the world they live in, and gallery shows at the end of every camp week. Recent camps have included Fiber Arts, Art Scouts, Wild About Animals, and Stop Motion Animation.
CUSTOM WORKSHOPS FOR KIDS
From llama portraits to needle felting to Bob Ross paintings to museum trips, custom workshops have created many one-of-a-kind creative experiences. They’re perfect for special events such as birthdays or just for creating unique memories with friends.
PARENTS’ DAY OUT
During the Christmas season, it’s a great way for parents to find some shopping time while kids create handmade gifts. And right before Valentine’s Day, it’s chance for kids to learn about expressing love through art.
CEDARS OPEN STUDIOS
Every November, close to 100 artists participate in this walking tour through the Cedars neighborhood, including stops at working studios, galleries, loft buildings, restaurants, and other venues. Cedars Art House has historically hosted between five and seven artistis and welcomed more than 500 visitors during this one day event.
